Community Surgery with Dr. Nathan Pictor
Every Thursday | 12:00 – 17:00Llanberis Social Club
Modern healthcare often feels rushed, leaving little room for the conversations that actually matter. The Community Surgery is a space designed to change that.
Every Thursday afternoon, We hold a free drop-in at the Llanberis Social Club. This is an opportunity to sit down in a relaxed environment and talk through your health concerns without the pressure of a ticking clock.
How it works
The format of these sessions is relational and open. While we sit together, we provide private time to discuss your specific needs. If we encounter a topic that might be helpful or interesting to others in the room, we may, with your consent, open that part of the conversation up to others.
This allows us to learn from one another and ensures that the expertise shared benefits the whole community.
What we can discuss
Deciphering Letters: If you have hospital or specialist letters that are difficult to understand, we can go through them together and translate them into something you can use.
Reviewing Medications: A space to ask questions about your prescriptions, how they work, and how they fit into your life.
Understanding Diagnoses: We can translate clinical labels into plain language, helping you feel more confident in your care.
Navigating the NHS: Practical advice on your "next steps" and how to advocate for yourself in future appointments.
Important to note
Our role here is to act as your clinical guide and advocate. Because this is a community forum, We do not provide formal diagnoses, physical examinations, or prescriptions. Instead, We focus on helping you understand the care you are already receiving so you can navigate your health journey with clarity.
No appointment needed. Just drop in for a chat and a panad.
